「當上一秒的時間點和下一秒的時間點對上了,就決定了故事的發展與變化,這是在時間錯亂底下發酵出來的哲學意識,亦是利用時間軸線上的重疊概念煥發出藝術家的內心情感世界。」

幻像之間 Between Illusion

去年個展(時間蒙太奇)的概念源於早期黑白電影默片,一個有著時代美學為底色概念的時間蒙太奇,延伸至2020年個展的(幻像之間)有著其奧妙的一面,它們都在時間錯亂底下發酵出來的哲學意識。

今年個展的幻像之間,它到底是怎麼一回事,說白了它其實一直在我們的身邊圍繞存在著,舉個例子吧!試想一下時間是每一秒都在前行著,而每一秒內的世界是獨立分開進行的橫向發展,當上一秒的時間點和下一秒的時間點對上了,這樣就決定了故事的發展與變化了。好,這裡只是說明了時間軸上的結構設計,現在我們可以從這裡發揮自己的想像力,以切換時間軸的理論,有趣的時間點上重疊出獨有的幻像空間,就產生自己獨特的世界觀了。這不是科幻,只是利用時間軸線上的重疊概念煥發出藝術家的內心情感世界。

 

Between Illusions

The concept of "Time of Montage" at last year's solo exhibition originated from the silent movie era. The black-and-white silent movie itself is also a "Time of Montage" which conveys the aesthetics of its time. Extending to my 2020 solo exhibition "Between Illusions" which demonstrates a mysterious side, a philosophical consciousness fermented under the chaos of time.

This year's solo exhibition "Between Illusions", what does it mean? To put it plainly, illusions have always been around us. For example, imagine that time is moving forward every second, and the world in each second is an independent and parallel universe. When the universe of the last second and that of the next second are connected, the development and change of the story are thus determined. Well, this just illustrates the structural design on the timeline. Now we can use our imagination to switch this theory. When we overlap our own illusions at an interesting point in time, we then produce our unique universe. This is not science fiction; it is only the artist showing his inner emotional world under the concept the overlapping illusions on the timeline.
